Calm after the storm (2019)

Calm after the storm is the second ski- documentary from Paul Schweller with the Mountaintribe crew. Every year before christmas the shops make the most sales. Christmas has become all about consumption. That’s where Calm after the storm starts. A few friends decided to take a roadtrip with two camper vans to the austrian Alps. They start right after Christmas, but they dont’t give each other expensive presents, instead they are switching their smartphones for old Nokia phones so they can live the simple life and don’t get distracted from the really important things like deep powder skiing. With this film the filmmaker made it the first time into the Freeride Film Festival 2019 which is known all across Europe.
